Minister of Health Ruth Aceng in a tweet said the three who were at an isolation facility at Mulago National Referral Hospital tested positive on Friday.
She said they were contacts to a confirmed case that had earlier passed on at the hospital.
The minister said the three will be transferred to Entebbe Isolation Unit, 40 km south of Kampala, since the Mulago unit still has contacts under quarantine.
"Let's remain vigilant and report anybody with symptoms similar to Ebola. Together we can end this epidemic," Aceng said.
The government has already put Kampala under a high response alert in case cases start increasing.
The ministry on Thursday gave envoys accredited to the country a guided tour of the Ebola treatment units, in a show of preparedness that the country is ready to combat and win the battle against the disease.
The Ministry of Health figures on Thursday showed that the country has so far registered 65 positive cases and 27 deaths since the outbreak was reported on September 20.

三 | 覆盖各年龄段的受骗案例持续增多，传统的线下宣讲、案例警示治理方式，已难以适配快速变化的诈骗模式，成为基层社会治理的突出难题。活动现场，多方行业代表结合一线实际展开深度交流。公安办案人员依托本地真实案例，细致拆解各类AI诈骗的作案模式，梳理基层预警、现场劝阻工作中的实际难题。高校研究人员从技术层面剖析AI诈骗的核心特征，普及简易、可落地的识别技巧。科技企业从业者则展示智能识别、风险甄别等技术手段的实际应用方式。参会各方立足基层治理真实场景，围绕反诈科普、风险预警、线索处置、重点人群提醒等关键工作交流思路。重点针对老年等易受骗群体，研究通俗化、接地气的科普宣传方式，让专业技术知识适配普通市民的认知习惯。接下来，杭州将进一步完善警校企协同工作机制，持续跟踪AI诈骗的新型变化，优化技术手段、推进基层宣传，打通智能技术与基层治理的衔接环节，搭建全方位、常态化的反诈工作体系，提升城市基层社会治理现代化水平。
